I am an interdisciplinary artist working with music, writing, and lately acrylics. Music has always been my primary form of expressing emotions. It is the light of my soul.
Since childhood, I have explored and absorbed the mysteries and magic of life and wrapped my insights and epiphanies into my art.
With music and prose, I tell entertaining stories, creating an atmosphere that allows my audience to get lost in their imaginations and discover the wondrous aspects of living.
I have been singing since I was five, written poetry and told short stories since twelve, and am exploring the art of acrylic painting, still finding my legs in a new creative medium.
I have earned recognition for my singing ability, published two short stories, an anthology of children’s stories, “The Worlds Below,” a middle grade novel, “The Snow Dragon,” and won second place in a writing competition for the short story “All Things Green.”
I learned crochet from my grandmother and have won Best In Show at the Arkansas State Fair with my work. I have received ribbons for photography, cake decorating, and landed first place in a county fair for my grandmother’s apple butter recipe. I mostly credit her grandmother for my fair accomplishments.
